Geospatial Applications & Analysis
This map displays the results from a report where I identified and analyzed large wood (LW) in the River Isonzo. I was tasked with indexing LW along the River Insonzo, generating hot spots for sizeable accumulations, classifying LW into clusters, and visualizing the distance to the nearest bridge. Understanding LW accumulations is valuable for implementing nature based solutions in order to minimize disruptions caused by LW (harming boat traffic, bridge collapses). LW Catchments are the designated solution to mitigate LW accumulations.
All analysis done using QGIS and RStudio (R)
Snow Accumulation in New York State
These plots are the results from my Coding for Spatial Analysis project. A very open ended project, we were encouraged to find raster and vector datasets that interested us and perform analysis using our favorite coding language. I felt R could be a fun challenge and decided to run with it. I’m most proud of my script for auto downloading the GeoTIFF files and creating unique folders to keep things tidy. It was also very satisfying to troubleshoot issues as they came and ultimately generate my final figures.
Ingram Micro
Market Development | Customer Success
They knew how to keep me busy. Most of my time at the company was spent supporting Lenovo Server warranty requests. I created the Process Map above to onboard new associates. On a typical day, I spent carrying out the process for a wide variety of customers. I also created a customer facing template to encourage our customers to help themselves decipher what part numbers would work for their hardware. My favorite was working on advanced requests (co-termmed contracts) and entering those into their order system. Order entry was like coding in The Matrix and it was satisfying to work through a contract opportunity from start to finish. The job was a lot of translating the sales process into updates customers could understand.
In addition to Lenovo, I also supported the APC Power team, Citrix, Veeam, and the fantastic folks at ShareFile (Progress).
Canalside Buffalo
Event Operations | Guest Experience
Canalside Buffalo was one of those places where no two days looked the same. I started at the Info Kiosk helping visitors navigate events and the waterfront, then moved into the Events Assistant role where I supported daily programming across fitness classes, seasonal festivals, and large public gatherings.
A big part of the job was being the line of communication between event staff, instructors, vendors, and the public. Whether it was a 20-person yoga class or a weekend festival with thousands of attendees, I helped keep the park flowing and ensured the experience stayed smooth on the ground.
I also spent time supervising interns and troubleshooting events when unexpected issues came up. A lot of the role was about staying calm and thinking on my feet.
SUNY Fredonia
Financial Heroics | Artist Management
At SUNY Fredonia, a lot of my time was spent in the Music Industry Club where I ended up as the club treasurer after being longtime member of the club. I worked closely with Student Affairs and fellow students to make sure our events weren’t just creatively strong, but financially doable. That included building out funding proposals, breaking down costs in a way that made sense to my peers, and getting lots of signatures and sign offs on club activities. One of the highlights of my work was helping secure an 11% increase in our annual budget, which expanded future club activities.
Outside of my role as club treasurer, I have the change to work with student bands and artists, earning 3 “Best Manager” awards for each Battle of the New Bands I participated in.
One of the most notable groups I worked with was New Masons, who also went on to win a campus Battle of the Bands event and earned multiple prize performance slots as a result. A big part of that was keeping rehearsals relatively focused and assisting with live shows so the band could focus entirely on performing when it mattered most.

Buffalo News – In this battle of bands, music was the big winner
Another band I worked with was Pier Pressure, where the focus shifted more toward coordinating the band branding and supporting their presence on social media. That included aligning schedules, managing last-minute changes, and ensuring smooth handovers between rehearsal planning and performance execution.
